Everywhere realm is a metaverse content developer with some big names behind it. The company is backed by the Weeknd, NAs, Will Smith, Paris Hilton, and Andreessen Horowitz. The company is now launching a game for adults that are interested in virtual real estate and home design.
The game is created by Everywhere realm and has been in development for more than three years and is currently ready to be deployed to the public. The game will be free-to-play and have the name “Hometopia”. In Hometopia players will have the ability to build their dream home with friends and create a community. Each home created by the user will be owned by the users as well, creating what is essentially an NFT home.

To some who have played or even watched Roblox some of Hometopia will be very familiar as the company stated parts of the project were based on Roblox and some of that games are more popular home designing games, Bloxburg and Brookhaven Those two projects have been visited more than 5 billion times to date. The CEO of Everyrealm, Janine Yorio calls Hometopia a “gamified combination of Pinterest, Houzz, and Wayfair”. The game is geared to be a more adult roblox-type game mostly geared towards female gamers.
Ready to Play
The company has already successfully closed a Series A funding led by Andreessen Horowitz who is the silicon valley venture capitalist also known as a16z. The amount they were able to secure was $60 million. The funds will be used to continue to build the project by adding more developers and employees to aid in the faster growth of the game.
The team at Hometopia believes the project will offer those with dreams of homeownership a way to live out the dream and have a home of their own that is exactly like what they picture in their imagination. The project is not a play-to-earn game in the traditional sense but as you play and create your homes they do become yours so you earn that virtual asset or property. There are no announcements on the exact date for launch as the company is currently working on the project at the time of this article
