Rose Parade Float Details & Costumes

This year’s Rose Parade float features six costumed characters that represent different aspects of digital art. Each character is wearing intricate costumes created by award-winning costume designer Lina Ryan. The float is being built by well-known float designer Jeff Miller and his team at Stage One Floats. It is said to be inspired by classic video games like “Pac-Man” and “Tetris” but with a modern twist on thematic elements such as color scheme, font style, etc. In addition to the costumes and complex design of the float itself, there will also be a short film that accompanies it which was funded through generous donations from sponsors such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Wacom Technology Corporation, and Autodesk Incorporated among others.

In total, over $2 million dollars were allocated for this project which includes funding for both the construction of the float as well as the creation of costumes for each character involved in it. The aim is to showcase how digital art can inspire creativity in everyone regardless of age or experience level while also highlighting how technology can help bring people together in innovative ways via platforms like Nouns NFT Project!
