First it was Nike, then Adidas, Gucci, Tiffany&Co., and now Hugo Boss has decided to prepare a new offering for web3. Hugo, the youthful arm of the HUGO BOSS company will be bringing its clothing into the Metaverse. In order to do this, the company will be utilizing a partnership with Imaginary Ones-a cartoonish NFT project. There are also plans to launch a 360° Metaverse experience that will be holistic as part of a global refresh of the brand, this was part of an announcement made by Hugo on Tuesday. The NFT collection will consist of 1,001 3D animations in a collection entitled Embrace Your Emotions or EYE.
Imaginary Ones is a collection of 8,888 fully animated 3D characters built on the Ethereum network. The project is Singapore-based and is headed by Clement Chia and David Lee. The platform utilizes the art to spread love, positivity, and creativity. The NFT project is one of the more successful ones so far and sold out in 6 minutes utilizing a Dutch Auction method of sale. To date the project has created more than 20,000,000 USD in sales volume on OpenSea.

. The collection will be 1001 3-D animations with six characters containing special attributes. Five characters represent one of our everyday day emotions including joy, sadness, fear, anger, and love. There is also a fun storyline being made for the collection. The sixth character will be the special character bringing together all five emotions and will be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the Youth Aware of Mental Health
YAM helps teens aged 13-17 learn more about mental health and how to stay healthy in their own lives. The project has been helpful in 16 countries with more than 85,000 young people participating.
Access to the collection will be handled by what is called an allowlist and that list will provide access to the HUGO x Imaginary Ones EYE collection enabling the purchase of the NFTs. 500 of the allowist spots are dedicated to those that purchase a “phygital” T-shirt that can also be used as a Snapchat lens. The shirts are limited edition as well.
The remaining 500 spots on the allowlist are reserved for holders of the Imaginary Ones Genesis NFT collection.

The holders of the HUGO x Imaginary Ones NFT will also be able to receive a 10% discount on clothing in the HUGO online clothing store via a “golden ticket” but that’s not all. Holders will be able to use the staking system of the Imaginary Ones ecosystem which grants access to special merchandise, experiences, and content which includes digital wearables and HUGO themed drops for their Imaginary Ones.
