The Adobe App gets
a Solana upgrade
Adobe’s Behance — a creative showcase platform has recently announced that users can connect their Phantom wallet to their Behance accounts to showcase their SOL NFTs. For the uninitiated Phantom is a wallet built specifically for the Solana blockchain. QuickNode, which is a web3 infrastructure platform based in Miami, aided in creating the feature with Adobe.
There was already the ability for creators to display their NFT on the Ethereum blockchain but due to the high energy use of Ethereum and the high gas fees many users are looking for other alternative blockchains to work with, Solana is a perfect fit as Solana is a proof-of-stake chain that addresses these concerns by being more energy efficient and cheaper to work with.
Phantom tweeted that this integration is “huge” for the Solana creator economy because it allows artists “an eco-friendly and low-cost way to experiment with NFTs.”
We're excited for NFTs to be integrated into creative platforms like @Behance. Artists will have an eco-friendly and low-cost way to experiment with NFTs and showcase their work.
