GOG was developed by Stepico Games and published by Immutable studios. GOG isn’t the only web3 and crypto company that has decided to move into esports of course. FTX paid $210 million to rename the popular esports team TSM to TSM FTX for a ten year term. This deal was more than the deal the company signed to change the name of the Miami Heat’s basketball arena. Coinbase also joined the bandwagon by singing a massive multi-multi-million dollar deal to become the main partner of Berlin International Gaming’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team

It has been stated that esports and web3 compliment each other giving the teams new ways to generate substantial revenue instead of searching for sponsorships.
